Intentional Creativity®

Intentional Creativity® is the process of creating with purpose, mindfulness, and intention.  It was developed by Maestra Shiloh Sophia McCloud and her mentor, Sue Hoya Sellars.  Setting an intention before approaching a creative endeavor sets the hearts GPS to a destination for a creative project.  Before approaching the canvas, the page, the clay, the stove or wherever one creates, an intention is set. The journey is never predictable, and the ever-present Muse often brings one on a round-about path that is filled with detours, jams, and layovers.  As Maestra Shiloh says, “Intentional Creativity is an approach to creating that yields greater access to who we are now and who we are becoming, and what is possible for us and our unfolding future.”

Cosmic Smashbooking

What is Cosmic Smashbooking?

Cosmic Smashbooking was born out of the Intentional Creativity movement and through the open heart and brilliant mind of Catt Z. Geller.  Since my teens I used composition notebooks for journals, so when I first saw Catt’s books, I had that sense of belonging and connection.   In 2018, I joined Catt’s tribe and became a certified Cosmic Smashbook Teacher.  Starting with a simple composition notebook,  I will guide you through steps that invoke all the senses to create a magical portal into your own deep wisdom.

Once created, your Cosmic Smashbook becomes a processing and reveal tool that can catapult you to greater understanding, deeper healing, and higher awareness.  This is playful work that leads you to discover your authentic self and live your unique life boldly and unapologetically.

Using inquiry and intention, all mediums of art making, collage, and whatever the Muse craves– the page comes alive.  There is no wrong way to Cosmic Smashbook, and the only rule is that there are no rules.
